The J. Murrey Atkins Library is located in the middle of UNC Charlotte’s campus at 9201 University City Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28262.

THATCamp Charlotte will take place in Area 49 of the J. Murrey Atkins Library, which is located on the second floor. Enter Atkins Library through the main entrance, which faces Broadrick Blvd and University Rd.

 

Parking

Attendees should park in the Visitor Lot at the Cone Deck. The J. Murrey Atkins Library is number 4 on the map, located just a short walk from Cone Deck. There is a fee to park on campus and rates can be found here.

 

Lunch

Lunch will not be provided during THATCamp Charlotte. Participants are welcome to bring their own lunch or visit one of the dining options available on campus, which include:

• Library Cafe – Located on the ground floor of Atkins Library, offers soups, sandwiches, and other grab-and-go options.
• Chick-fil-A Express
• Bojangles’
• Wendy’s
• Starbucks
• Crown Commons – Dining hall serving a variety of options including pizza, salads, soups, sandwiches, and hot dishes. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-sensitive options available. Lunch cost: $9.15
• Outtakes – A deli counter for made-to-order sandwiches or grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, snacks, beverages, and convenience store items
